What are generic emails and do they work?

Quite simply the Schools.co.uk generic list of schools is a database of almost every primary and secondary school in the UK. The only schools missing are those that have stated that they do not wish to receive any marketing material via email.

The list is available for you to use in two ways: either you can buy the whole database and then arrange your own transmission of emails as and when you wish, or you can have Schools.co.uk send out your emails on your behalf, using this list.

The data, when supplied for you to use, contains two sets of information – one of secondary schools and one of primary schools. Each list can then be selected by county if required. The database also contains the school name as well as the generic email address of the school.

To buy the full database for use by yourself as often as you wish, the price is £74.95. The database is provided as a spreadsheet, and you will of course need a method of bulk transmission of emails that will work with a database of this type.

If you are intending to use one of the commercial services that send out data it is worth checking that the service provider will send out advertisements to this type of list.

As an alternative, if you would like to have Schools.co.uk send out your emails on your behalf to this list, we can do this.  A mailing to all secondary schools costs £75, and to all primary schools costs £175.

Additionally, if you would like to receive a commentary of our thoughts on your email either before or after you have sent it out, we are very happy to do this at no extra charge.
