The Schools.co.uk Payment by Results service allows companies that sell products or services to schools – or indeed just one product or service – to advertise at no cost.
Quite simply, the company prepares an advertisement that can be sent out by email to teachers using our personal email lists, which Schools.co.uk will then send out from time to time.
Some companies supply us with several advertisements so that they can keep varying their message to teachers. Others ask us to help them create an advertisement or make changes to their own advertisement – which we are happy to do.
Then, at the end of each month the company tells us how many items they have sold and at what price, and we invoice the company for our commission. This is then paid at the end of the month after the orders have been placed.
All of which means that the commission is not paid until at least one month after the orders have come in, thus avoiding any cash flow problems.
How much the commission is depends very much on the product or service you are offering, so the process begins with you telling us a little about your product or service and giving us the address of your website, so we can take a look at what you sell.
