In my last piece (“The need to experiment”) I made mention of the fact that one cannot simply run the same advert all the time – people will get a bit fed up with that and sales will decline.
So one needs to have a range of different advertisements available which can attract the attention of potential customers.
And thus it was to encourage companies who used our services to promote to schools to do this that we introduced the 6-email campaign.
Through this you can get a very significant discount on your email promotions to schools but at the same time choose when you want to have the emails sent out.
After each email is transmitted to the teachers of your choice you will receive a report showing, in particular, the number of teachers who clicked on the website that you have linked to in your advertisement.
Obviously if you get lots of sales or enquiries you will know the advertisement is working well. But if you get very few click throughs, then you’ll know something is wrong with the email in terms of encouraging readers to seek more information.
If on the other hand you get a lot of people clicking onto the website, but very few buying, you know that you need to change the landing page.
And in both cases, should you wish, we’ll give you free advice and support in terms of making those changes in order to make your promotions more profitable.
If you would like to know more about making email promotions more successful you might care to look at our free report, “The most common reason why email promotions fail, and what you can do about it”. For a copy of this free report please email Sam@schools.co.uk
For more information about the 6-email campaign please do take a look at our website page on the subject. The programme allows you to have an email sent to the personal email addresses of the teacher/s you select for under £50 for secondary schools and under £66 for primary schools.
