Unlikely as it may seem, there is a way of advertising to schools without the financial risk of not getting the returns you might have wanted. It is known as Payment by Results advertising, and in the last couple of years it has become very popular indeed.
Quite simply you create an advertisement, and we send it out on a regular basis to relevant teachers at no charge to you at all.
If you wish you can create a whole series of advertisements and we’ll rotate them, so you can see which ones work best and then focus on them in the future.
Your orders come to you in the normal way, and at the end of the month you tell us how many orders you have taken. One month after that you pay us an agreed rate of commission on each sale.
Obviously that commission is directly related to the number of sales you get at the rate agreed in the first place – but to stress the point, there is no fee for the advertising at all.
Then, if you feel you are getting a really good response rate and it would be cheaper for you to move across to advertising paid for at our normal rates, you can then do that.

Obviously we treat all information we are given with confidence – and indeed what you can do is simply send in a copy of a recent advert for your product – although the more information we have, the more it helps us judge how best to promote the product or service.
We’ll then tell you the commission rate we would need. Then if you are happy with the idea you give us the go-ahead and we start running the adverts.
You can of course ask us to stop advertising at any time – and indeed you can ask us for any other thoughts and advice on your product and how to sell it.
